I saw that someone else posted this on a thread on here:

It turns on by itself, goes into the scroll list and scrolls throught "switch off" and all the profiles all by itself! It then turns off and turns back on.

My 6235 does this too! unfortunately its two years old so the the warranty is up. What should i do? Can this be fixed? Should i cut my losses and try to sell it on trademe? How much would you get for a phone that scrolls through the profile's by its self?

THanks!

Mine did this after I dropped it in to water while on the boat, mates did the same after he got stuck in rain., I'd almost be certain there is liquid/moisture in there or some damage..

Chuck it and buy a new one.

Really? Grrr that sucks. It shouldn't have any liquid damage, ive been pretty careful. Oh well. Ill try and get something for it on trademe. The battery and charger are still fine. How much do you think i could sell it for?

I would cut my loses and get rid of it.

Paradoxsm is probably right, it sounds like water damage.

As for what you would get for it, that is the beauty of trade-me, may the highest bidder win!
