Hi, whenever I receive a picture from my friend on Vodafone, I get a text message with a URL (xtra.co.nz/viewmsg), id number and password. I then have to go to a PC (I could use my PDA except I have to keep going back to refer to the "login" details), then enter all the details as provided.

Is there something the sender can do or an easier way of transferring these photos? It hardly seems worth the effort. Even receiving an email with the URL (including logon details) would be a hell of lot easier, as I could just load it with one click on my PDA.

Fortunately, not many people send pictures in this way, otherwise I would be not be bothering :)

I'm guessing by the fact that you recieve the Xtra link, that you're on Telecom.

Telecom handles pictures this way if they detect your phone is not capable of directly recieving them.

Thanks, yes I forgot to mention that important detail! I am on Telecom, using a Okta Touch running Windows Mobile 6.0.

I will read your link.
