I started a new vodafone account last month and just got my first bill. I can't find any charges for GPRS on it. Is this a good or a bad thing?

I ask because I've been using maybe 100k a day doing email and browsing and stuff, and was expecting a reasonable-sized bill, but all I can see are charges for txt and the odd peak call.

Is GPRS charging like delayed for a month, or am I just lucky and should keep quiet? Problem is I'm on account so they can hunt me down and kidnap my cat if the want to.

B.

It's on the second page, after the bill payment due information. Lucky you!

Hrrm second page I've got:
Pricing Plans - all correct, Get 200
Subscribed Services - voicemail plus, all cool
Calls - local and national - adds up to the sum of all txts and chargeable calls

Then it goes straight into the list of phone calls.

Strange but true. I'll check again next month.

I haven't been charged for any GPRS usage for several months now. Not sure why, but I don't intend to query it in case I lose the privilege!

OK johnr... once more but in English?
Does that mean I should be able to see GPRS charges on my online account details?

P.S. I'm a software developer, and could speak all day in acronyms, but find it is generally quicker to explain things in plain english rather than explain them twice :-D

He's saying that call detail records (CDR, information used to charge users on calls and network activities) are sent to the billing systems every fifteen minutes. In theory.

Obviously if Alasta is not being charged it's because his account has a flag somewhere indicating the account has free usage - most likely by mistake, but good on him.

Hi all,

Best see

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/pricingplan/06.7_your_bill_made_simple.jsp?hd=4yourbusiness&st=pricingplans&ss=onaccount

There is a PDF that explains your bill in detail.

Customer Service on 777 or 0800 800 021 can explain this fully for you.
