freitasm: I don't think you would even get a telepermit. There are very strict rules. The testing is a very long process which sometimes would cost a lot more than the phone itself.Before you say this is how bad Telecom is, etc, here is the explanation: every phone is heavily customised to a network. Sprint phones have features that only work on Sprint. Same for Verizon phones. Bringing a phone here would cause lots of problems.
In theory as Sprint is Telecom NZs technolgy partner and thay piggyback on Sprints purchase agreements I suspect that a Sprint sorced fone would work on the TCNZ CDMA network..
