Hello there.

I recently purchased the first edition of the SPV phone by Orange.
I have just tried to log into msn messenger that is installed on the phone.
But when I sign in, it says msn needs to be updated. But the update is only available from the orange.co.uk website.
I am however unable to connect to my phone to my computer.
When ever I attempt to connect the spv usb cradle to my computer, it says the usb device isn't recognised. I build computers for a living, so I know there isn't an error with my computer. But this doesn't solve my problem...
Has anyone experienced this error before?
And how do I update my msn?

Thank you very much for your help in advanced.

Have you installed ActiveSync before connecting the phone to your computer? ActiveSync installs the required drivers

Hello there.
I followed all the instructions in the spv manual exactly.
So yes, I did install active sync first before connecting the phone up.

I've noticed on google that everyone is asking for the msn patch.
But I can't find it anywhere!
