Got an email this morning from Amazon with this Moto G4 Amazon Moto G4  I know it is setup for US carriers  and my not have LTE here in NZ  but will work on 3G,  but when I  move out of Auckland next year the phone I have now (Mi 4i)   only has band 3 (1800) LTE and will drop back to 3G  outside the metro areas.

The price is NZ$242  Plus YouShop which is way cheaper that the parallel imports  sold  here..  From what i hear the Amazon adds on the home screen are not very noticeable..

TIA

Odd, the price for both versions seems to show as 229USD for me... (with lock screen ads and standard)  EDIT: Ah, or does it show a special price if you're logged in with Prime?

Yes  I suspect so and the email subject line says "All-New Prime Exclusive Moto G"

I get the $99 version as the Moto g play and Moto G4 as $149. I am logged in as a prime member

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I found out via Amazon that it does support LTE band 3 (1800)  but not band 28 (700)

I see this morning that PB tech has the G4 plus for $499.  At least it has the NZ LTE bands of 3 and 28  A bit more expensive  than Amazon US or India are selling it for..

Moto G4 plus PB Tech
