I'm not sure where to post this as this is my first topic so I just posted it here because it seems the right place for it.

I have a Motorola E398 on the Vodafone network and I need help on which flash card I need is it an SD, microSD or something else?
Also am I able to get these in DSE or from an online place like

Plenty of places for Micro SD/Transflash cards for your phone.

Best place in many opinions is

A quick google of your phone model says that it takes microSD (AKA TransFlash).

And a quick look on ascent (your retailer of choice) shows this

Thats the back of my phone under the battery.
I tried my friends MicroSD card (See picture) it was too small, would the adapter fit it. I was thinking it would be too big.

The silver holder on the bottome is for the SIM card. The other silver holder above it is for the Transflash/MicroSD card. Find a user manual and read it if you're not sure what you're doing.

But the microSD was too small for that slot on the top.
If I took it into DSE would they let me try out a card to see if it fits. I also looked in the manual, there are little or no technical specifications. I had a look on this site: which had a link which lead me to a site which had memory card of the same size as the ones on Ascent.

It definately looks like the right size to me. Not sure why you were having issues regarding MicroSD being too small.

If you're located in Wellington, try taking a trip out to the Lyall Bay DSE. They've got the best Technical experience of any retailer I've come across and they'll be pretty willing to help you test out a card and get it working for you.

Ok thanks for the replies guys, I'll take a trip down to my local DSE (Napier) and see if they will let me try out a card to see if it will fit.
If not, "I'm a paying customer... <Insert Profanity>"
