I'm looking to buy a budget smartphone for my mum for Xmas and was looking at the Spark Plus. Is it any good or something to stay away from? She is a complete smartphone noob, let alone technology in general.

Would it be a good basic smartphone? Is it a good phone? (For the price) or should I be looking at another basic smartphone?

Thanks!

Bump. Wouldn't normally bump but would like advice if anybody has used one of these before.

Thanks :)

I haven't used one but the specs certainly look OK to me for a phone of that price.

You can't get much for a hundy these days. If it were me I'd probably buy it for the situation you describe.

It will be all good for a Ma and Pa user, better than a $100 whoarewe phone :)
