I have just received my Mophie XXL powerbank. It looks like a nice product but is light on technical information, and yes, I have read the manual.

I'm thinking with a normal charger this would take a long time to charge, so I best buy a fast charger. But what can this unit support?

Powerbanks tend to charge slowly.

Put it on overnight and let it charge :)

what is the charger that it comes with rated at?

unless it supports quick charging (highly unlikely) then it will likely take as long as it takes on the supplied charger and there will be no way to speed it up

No mains charger is included - only a USB cable.

i would say then it would only charge at 2.1amps max from your 5v charger

ie Charging time in hours = ( power bank capacity in mAh) /(charging rate in mA)

This is not 100% efficient so even if you figure 85% and use 1.8A (1800mAh)

20000mAh/1800mAh = 11.1h, so a while

and thats best case, use a lower spec charger and it will take a bit longer.
