I was just browsing Telecom.co.nz mobile phone gallery and i dont appear to see any Hyundai TX95 or Sanyo 8100. Have these phones been taken off the shelves by Telecom already? How bout getting rid of that Kyocera Slider.

Does anyone know if these 2 phones have been withdrawn? Cause I was wanting to get a new Hyundai TX95 on Boost but i might have to check out that Nokai 3205 now.

There was a thread about this recently. Apparently, the Sanyo sold out as a result of them dropping it to $499. I'm not sure about the Hyundai, but it was probably getting a bit long in the tooth.

As to the Slider, I used one for a while and I quite liked it. It was basic in terms of functionality, but it was solid and reliable. It did have a few annoying quirks, though, like the lack of feeling on the buttons, the slow text input speed, and the poor design of the cursor keys.

I'm looking forward to new releases in the future. I have just received an emailed brochure (US) from Kyocera and it looks like they've got some pretty cool stuff on the way.

Yes the Sanyo is currently out of stock due to the overwhelming popularity of it recently, it should be back on the shelves late next month. The Hyundai TX95c has been removed to make way for a newer version of it later this year (I'm hoping its going to be this year).
As for the Slider that is on its way out once they have sold out.

Yep the slider is gone as well. Still stock around in some stores but you will have to be quick if you want one. The 3205 is a better option anyway, as least it has MMS

Haven't heard about the N391 yet but have heard about the Rave. There is also a Nokia 6015 coming out in september apparantly, unsure on price right now though.

They are coming, even megapixel ones. Just not today ;) I'm hanging out for it as much as you are, believe me. I've got a Sanyo 8100 but would like something that takes larger pics than this one does.

There was an advert in the dominion post today, you can get the tx95c for $399 from harvey normans and they really should get rid of the 2280 thats been out ages

Any specs on the Samsung 391? I was thinking of buying a 361 at the new cheaper price, but I'm wondering if I should hold fire.

i think telecom is slack as with not releasing more camera phones. i can't believe that they are offering free pxt - and then barely any phones that do it!! and i can't see the point of releasing more non pxt phones. they aren't really offering anything new to the consumer.
when you look at the huge choice through vodafone, telecoms few offerings look pathetic... even with $10 text think it might be time for a change!!!!!
