Hi!

Im just wondering if theres anyone who knows how to find the IMEI number for Telecom phones. Or if there is even one, cause im trying to unlock my phone etc. The pages that i have seen say to press *#06# but i have my mobile and access to another Telecom and that code doesn't work for either of them???

Thanks anyone that can gimme some help!!!

This topic should be better on the CDMA forum. I can move there if you want...

What exactly are you trying or wanting to do? CDMA uses ESN and MIN as the user identifier

When you say 'unlock', are you wanting to use it on another network? You would already be able to use the phone to roam on other networks with which Telecom has roaming agreements, but you won't be able to connect it to an account on a foreign network because CDMA handsets have network dependant firmware.

That's why you can't just buy a cheap CDMA handset from overseas and connect it to Telecom 027.

There's also a blurb on the Telepermit site about ppl bringing overseas CDMA phones into NZ.

You can read it here: http://www.telepermit.co.nz/nl137.html#sec3
