Telecom are going to releasing a new service where you can change the tone the caller hears from "ring ring" to a tune or sound effect of your choice. This is going to be available in early October...what for it on Telecom web site. They are going to cost $3.50 to set up. Is this cool or does it sux...what do you think?
Sounds cool. If you could upload you own tune or message it would just totally rock. Imagine the sales tools!
however, as with most other things from Telecom like Djuice, Wordup, 99c peaktime Prepaid, 025, It will no doubt have a "life" of probably about a year at my guess. I'd like to see it. at the same time Telecon, FREE callwaiting for all mobile custs would be great like Vodafone.
Good idea I say. Might not be huge in the "business" market. It is no worse than the old Vodafone Wicked Welcome I had on my old 021 answer phone. Do voda still Wicked Welcomes? Instructional 2 is classic!!
Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.
Finally released, I like it. a nice touch. of course being able to use your own introductury message would be a fantastic tool for business. the only catch, Businesses would turn off voicemail, chuck an old phone on permanent charge and on silent, add a caller tune and let customers call it totally free for more info about XXXX XXXX product etc.
Downers,
My grandmother thought she had struck voicemail of someone else and phoned about 5 times to try and leave me a message.
New business callers might just hang up if they hear "chainsaw" or "britney spears" playing to them and have no idea of what it is. Nothing major for personal users though.
I have loaded "bohemian like you", The Vodafone business advert theme song and have had mostly postitive feedback saying it's refreshing.
next step, your own personal mobile IVR. press one for me, press 2 for Blah blah blah.
