Hi all

I have never done this before but a family member has asked how she would go about transferring everything from her iPhone 6s to the new Samsung Fold mobile?

A quick google reveals that Google suggests using Google Drive - https://www.android.com/switch/

I can't imagine that'll deal with iMessages, though, so at least that may need a more specific approach? (eg https://www.syncios.com/android/transfer-imessages-from-iphone-ipad-to-android.html)

It'll be interesting to read of the specific methods used by GZ members who have made the iOS > Android transition.

Oh No 😮😨 she is going over to the dark side 🌚

Paying out a small fortune for unproven tech (US$1980). I believe at the release nobody got to play with one so we are only taking Samsung word that it works and is the next big consumer darling gadget that we all want.

I personally would wait for the 2nd generation. Don't get me wrong the concept is brilliant but critics are already asking the hard questions. The problem with the Galaxy Fold

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

She is now thinking of the Note 9 :)
