Okay - have gotta add that i love this phone. Is heaps better than the sanyo - so much more user friendly. it does set to t9 which is great for texting, does cool photos, and even though doesn't ahve colour lcd on the outside does ok self portraits. i think its great

I just got mine this afternoon and, whilst it's early days, I'm also very impressed with it. My advice is don't be put off by the fact that it's a Hyundai.

The stubby antenna is quite long and imposing, but that's about my only gripe so far. As to the external LCD, I personally can't see the point of having it in colour, although the external display on the TX-115 is a bit small and text is very hard to read. Not a major problem, though.

Contrary to what others here have suggested, the Telecom outlet on Lambton Quay still has Sanyo 8100s in stock. I've never used one, so I can't really pass judgement, but the salesman said that even though it's $100 more expensive, the 8100 doesn't offer anything over and above the TX-115. Apparently, there is no significant difference in features or quality.
