Does anyone use screen protectors on their phone? I have used glass ones on iphones, but the samsung ones are more curved, so need a curved glass screen protector. The ones I have seen seem to be ones that are only adhered on the edges, and can be less responsive. Or they are glued on with a UV type glue, similar to this one https://www.trademe.co.nz/mobile-phones/accessories/screen-protectors/listing-2253596806.htm My concern with this type is as they are 'glued' on, are they easy to remove if they crack? Anyone use these, or what do people tend to use?

Personally I tend to stay away from curved glass mobiles due to this problem, I use Spigen gear where possible and haven't been let down yet.

Thanks. Does this UV glue tha tthe whitestone one uses come off easily if it needs replacing?  I was thinking just using a hydrogel film, but glass screen protector seems to give more shock protection than not having it, and doesn't scratch like film can.

Basically this is how I see it, film screen protectors are mostly good against scratches but bad for fall protection, glass ones are good against drops, this is why I use glass ones only. I personally have not used the Whitestone Dome Glass, I have only looked into the reviews and I haven't seen anyone complaining about removal or left over glue.

It would seem that Mobilefun is the cheapest: https://www.mobilefun.co.nz/whitestone-dome-glass-samsung-s10-plus-full-cover-screen-protector-70994

The reviews on this seem very mixed - especially around supporting the finger print scanner.

For my S10+ IO have gone with a film screen to protect against everyday scratches and a slim case with raised bumpers to protect from drops.

Yeah but I guess more often than not it's people who simply didn't read the instructions.

Thanks guys. I have an incipio dual pro case which is supposed to have been tested upto 10 feet, and does have raised edges. I am sitll not sure about the screen protector. I have never broken the screen on a phone before and am really careful, so I may initially try a film, such as spigens wet applied one, which will hopefully stick around the curves better. Curved glass does seem problematic, but it is probably the way phones are going, unless the iphone 12 is going back to the squar edge iphone 5 design, which will influence other manufacturer. I read the reviews on some liquid applied ones, and some peaple have had problems with it delaminating around edges near buttons over time.
