HI Guys,
Long time lurker first time poster!
Im a bit stuck at the moment I did a hard reset (using a nokia # code) on my Nokia 2118 and wiped the telecom settings (it just sits there 'searching for network')
I now need the settings for the phone. I can access this stuff by entering [code removed]
What do I need to enter to get this phone to 'see' Telecom again?

My Guess is:
NAM1
-MDN
-MIN
-A-KEY CODE?

CDMA SETTINGS
-PRIMARY CDMA CHANNEL A
-SECONDARY CDMA CHANNEL A
-PRIMARY CDMA CHANNEL B
-SECONDARY CDMA CHANNEL B
-SID/NIS Lists?
-NETWORK CODE?

AMPS SETTINGS?

Any help will be appreciated!

You will need to visit a Telecom NZ store

Why did you hard reset the handset? not a smart thing to do

Well I didn't realise it was going to break things (only found out the differences between hard/soft reset afterwards lol)

You honestly think I can t fix it myself?

Cheaper/quicker to buy another one id say ($35 - $50 is the going rate on TM), unless you can get a quote for cheaper than that from Telegistics to reflash it (which it requires).

It needs to be flashed by them before it will work on TNZ again.

I've had to hard reset a few Nokia's in my time and it always worked perfectly (albeit Vodafone). What's the difference with Telecom?

On a GSM network, such as Vodafone's, the important connection details are stored on the SIM card, so when you do a hard reset on the phone, they remain unaffected. With the CDMA network, the details are stored in the flash memory on the phone, so if you hard reset it, it's toast.
