Finally moving a family member from a dumb flip phone to an iPhone 7 Plus. However I would like a case recommendation from you guys please.

The family member is a truck driver and spends time in the back country. So needs a case that can be knocked about, water proof, dust proof, shock proof etc.

As an aside, found a good deal on the iPhone 7 Plus from JBHiFi Australia. Works out at around $710 nzd which is a $350 saving. picking one up today as I happen to be there.

TIA!

Lifeproof case from any of the main retailers, Noeel Leeming sell them.  Expensive but do everything you want, drop proof, dust, shock and water proof.  Expensive but worth it.

UAG Urban Armour Gear would probably be more cost effective, again from likes of Noel Leeming or JB HiFi

My elderly sister is always abusing her iPhones; drops from >1 mtr, drop in toilets (she insists on talking whilst doing the business), placing in tight back pocket and sitting on it. bottom of the bottomless purse/bag and worst off all, thumping the screen as opposed to tapping. That was her previous to the now iPhone 7. We insisted she paid the Spark shop $74 for a Otterbox  Strada Folio. So far so good for the iPhone 7.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I'd go either a LifeProof or Catalyst.

I had both (for one reason or another) for my 7+ and actually preferred the Catalyst.

I got the Catalyst via Airpoints - a great case and a little more waterproof than the Lifeproof.

I never got on with the lifeproof ones.

I like MOUS - had them on my last 3 phones. About as slim as you can get whilst still offering great protection and the carbon fibre back is very resistance to wear and tear.

You would need a decent glass screen protector as well though.
