What do you think of motorolla v525? I am thinking of buying a new phone and at the moment this looks like the best option. I am wanting a clamshell phone with a good camara.
Thanx

My flatmate had one, while it had a good camera the rest of it kind of annoyed him, he ended up taking it back and getting himself a P900. I realise that's a bit of a step up in price, but he got pretty mad at his V525. I'll ask him what about it hated.

One thing I believe you can do if you get one is upgrade it to a V600, you just need to download some software and files from the 'net. Not sure exactly how it works though.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!

Thanx that helps, $600 is kind of my limit in terms of buying a new phone, hey, maybee prices will go down by Feb;)

At the moment the 525 is the only one available on the nz vodafone site...there aint no 900

If anyone knows where you get the downloads to upgrade a 525 to a 600 I'd be more than happy to know

Is the camara just as good/better as the motorola v525? That is the biggest thing I'm thinking of in terms of phones. the sony erikson phone looks pretty good, and it's cheaper :)

What does this have to do with CDMA??
Nothing you are talking about has anything to do with CDMA here.
Please use the correct forums.

I don't even know what CDMA means!
I am using this forum to discuss cell phones cause other people are, there is no forum specifically labelled for cell phone discussions in general!

Ahiru, there are two major standard for mobile telephony, one is GSM, the other is CDMA. Depending on what operator you're using the mobile phone will operate in one or another. This forum is for CDMA phones, while this forum is for GSM phones.
