I have just taken over this site (www.ratemypxt.com) and am currently looking at ways to develop it further any comments would be great. The more people we get submitting the better so get your camera phone out and send random photos to add@ratemypxt.com

Clean up in progress.........

This site has been completly unmoderated up until I took it over just under a month ago, I have since removed all R18 images and will look at moderating user comments in the future, I just need systems to do it effencly without restricting now much users can say

You need a filter like Mauricio has here that weeds out the unacceptable words etc. Too many losers posting in there!!

Advertise/Promote it and keep it up to date.

Others have done similiar things in NZ with online galleries etc. Take www.pxt2web.co.nz as an example. Good idea, ok presentation, clear and easy to use etc...

But no one knows about it!!

Unless you happen to stumble onto it by accident you would never know it existed. It's not kept up to date, see the last entry on the homepage so comes across as a neglected site where nothing is happening. As such membership has stagnated with about 20 new members in the last 6 months and probably not many more images have been added.

thanks for the comments eddieb, We are currently working on ways of efficently generating income from this site without adversly effecting the users from there we have a range of advertising planned in different areas which have a similar target market.

Advertising, Go ahead and place some banners on but leave content alone and steer clear of pop-ups or install on demands like "precision time, Gator, Bonzi buddy" etc.

Site, :-) I Like it. worth a laugh. Keep it going. I'll register when I get a "pxt" phone (Digicam and Qtek loaded with MMS client for pristine pictures)

The moderation is good but leave some areas where losers can still get their kicks.
(no candid shots though, we don't want to be promoting this practice)

And PLEASE leave it Apache and steer clear of ASP .NET
