T3G Launched. I could find no mention of this anywhere so have created a topic.

T3g was Launched on monday. Details are sketchy at this stage but data plans are:

Mobile Broadband RatesAccess FeeIncluded UsageExcess Per MbTier
Mobile Broadband Casual Rate$-N/A$9.00-
Mobile Broadband Flexi$11.25N/A$1.132
Mobile Broadband 100$59.00100Mb$0.83
Mobile Broadband 200$111.38200Mb$0.684
Mobile Broadband 500$223.88500Mb$0.565

Very pleased with the rates, Seems they are offering this to 1RXTT (144k) as well and if you must CDMA2000 (14k)

shame the off XTRA WAP pricing is still an arm and a leg (5c per 1KB, or $50 a megabyte!)

Certainly looks a lot better than the old 1xRTT data pricing. Do those prices include GST?

Pricing is a little out

e.g. Flexi is $10 + $1 p/mb ex gst

Flexi was labelled Loyalty Corporate Multi-user and has been available for some time, nice to see it available for everyone now.

And yes, there is no difference in cost per megabyte no matter what speed you connect, whether its 14.4 <153k <2Mb

I have not seen speed less than 110k on 1x for many months. Cant wait to drive to Taupo and play with EVDO. (Oh god I am sad...)

The new EVDO network is only in Available at this stage in the Main centers and Holiday spots for now and will be roled out later on in the middle of no where. SO when you leave EVDO Coverage you will fall back to 1X
