Anyone know how much longer before its realeased here? There's no positive results on a google search in NZ (apart from one on TradeMe). Can't be too much longer surely?!

Cheers!

You mean for Vodafone to release it? That usually lags around 6months behind the release of handsets internationally. If you mean parallel imported then should be a few weeks.

For roughly the same money I'd much rather go for the Samsung Innov8... check it out if you haven't looked into it already.

Try Expert infotech, i have no affiliation but their price was good (under 1k incl) even tho they screwed up and sent me the black instead of the silver.

I can report since upgrading to latest firmware 042 it is a nice phone, all sorts of issues before hand tho, this one has been rushed to market but it will turn out a nice mobile when they have finished writing the o/s.  you will need to do firmware update via pc to make it work it wont download a new one 'over the air'.

The display is the best ive ever seen on a phone, very nice contrast.  camera is a bit noisy but still very good for a phone.  gps is good-average but getting better with firmware revisions.

i'm glad i waited for this instead of settling on the c702.

if you are running the 38 firmware upgrade it now
makes it about 40% better if you need a random number for how much better it is :)
