Tell ya what, you make a considerable saving buying the S700 in from overseas.

I bought my S700 for $900 from NZSHOP2GO.COM instead of paying $1400.

Admittidly you may have to pay GST on top of that if customs pulls you up but still considerably cheaper and no horrible Vodafone icons / customisation
