Personally, for privacy risk reasons, I wouldn't go near a Chinese OS, but then I am not the target market.

The key target market is clearly China and if this takes off and it gains significant market share, it will be at Google and Apple's expense - raising the possibility that the US (well, Trump, actually) may end up scoring a home goal when it comes to maintaining global mobile OS share.
