Hi

Im heading over to australia and am wanting to have a mobile phone to use over there

I understand my telecom cant be used over there because its not a new flash model does this sound correct? its a samsung of some type

If thats the case, i also have a 3 or 4 year old Vodafone, would that be likely to work over there then?

Any advice is much appreciated
thanks

You need a worldmode phone to roam with Telecom in Australia and other GSM destinations, Such as a Samsung W531, Okta Mondo, Samsung I325 or Blackberry 8830. Otherwise you can get a free loan phone.

.

It's likely to work, however if you wish to use your Telecom number for a short period while roaming in Australia, Telecom can provide you with a Roaming SIM card free of charge that will work in this handset also for use overseas. They are available free of charge
