I have a static caravan and the surrounding signal strength on my phone is an acceptable 2-3 bars. However, inside the caravan it drops to 0-1 bars.
Is there a simple, legal way of improving the inside signal strength?
Thanks.

Passive boosters are legal as far as I am aware, an antenna on the outside pointing to the cell site and an antenna on the inside, no electronics.

Something like this.   https://www.cellutronics.co.nz/passive-repeaters

That looks exactly what I need, except for the price 🙄
I wonder if that could be a diy project, antenna, cable and coil, hmmm.

The best solution for this is a Cel-Fi, but if you're price conscious, then it might not be an option either. Approx. $1500 + install.
