Is it possible to set something on a Nokia 6275i to stop it searching for the network when out of range? 

I spent a day walking in the bush out of network coverage and forgot to switch my phone off, by the evening it had completely drained a full battery.  I presume that its due to searching for the Telecom network every few seconds.
