Looking to get 2 esims for myself and wife. Travelling to Europe shortly.

Been trying to buy off Holafly, something wrong with there checkout basket system. Can't get any response from there support people. Any other options for esims. Looking for 3 months unlimited data options.

TravelKon seems pretty popular on OzBargain

20% off All Travel eSIM Cards (Instant Delivery) – Europe, USA, NZ, Japan, Korea, Asia & More from $12 @ TravelKon - OzBargain

30 Days 10GB Data Only $39.20
30 Days 20GB Data Only $71.20

-----

Edit: Sorry just read your post properly. You're after unlimited. In saying that: "10 / 20GB of Data (after which speed will be reduced to 256kbps – with unlimited data)"

if you can fit a physical sim that would be the cheaper option. When you land in your first EU country buy a prepaid sim from a local carrier, they have this thing called roam like home there which means you pay nothing extra for roaming. note that in my xperience this tends to exclude Switzerland and Monaco unless you're on an account with a more expensive provider or pay for an extra addon.

We're in a similar situation. Airalo seems to be the favourite on this forum and I recently bought a NZ 1 week eSim to try it out. Worked fine, although their installation instructions could do with updating. I will be purchasing them to give us additional cover, although Travelkon as suggested by @Wakrak looks interesting. Not much feedback on them though.

As @hamish225 suggested, a physical sim is an option and it gives you an advantage of local phone calls. I've had a UK sim card for years and it covers all the EU except Switz. Surprised after Brexit this option is still there. Data is limited to 5GB when roaming on this card unless you top-up. There seems to be a general tightening up, and a new purchaser needs to have a UK address and using the sim for 2 months before EU roaming can be used. The fineprint is important for these things and can be a bugger to find.

Can't see you getting unlimited data from anyone. If you find it, let us all know - this where the hotel wifi comes into it's own. With Airalo, you can purchase a top-up when you've used all the data, and it saves the hassle of installing another eSim.

Nomad offer unlimited UK E-sims for various durations and a regional plan to cover Europe (but they aren't unlimited).  Used them for AU and USA, and have been great.

As an update on the NZ Airalo eSim, I found I was blocked from reaching some websites and was wondering if this would be an issue overseas with other eSims. Couldn't find much on the web so assume it isn't. Admittedly some of the sites were a bit dodgey, like a caravan manufacturer in Oz, but perhaps the dodgiest was that suspect site geekzone.co.nz. I jest not. The eSim operator (correct term??) was listed as fl1.li and that seems fairly genuine.
