Pip - Because you don't accept private messages, I wasn't able to reply to your message privately, so I will post my response here as others may find the discussion of interest anyway.

Admittedly, I haven't used my TX115 that much, but I'm pretty happy with it.

With regard to your specific problem, I'm not sure that the problem that I've had with mine is the same as the problem that you and other members of this forum have been experiencing. You describe the problem as loud beeps every few minutes, whereas my phone emits very faint beeps a couple of times a day at most. I think this is an R/F issue, because it seems to happen in certain areas and it always comes up with "searching for network" (or words to that effect) on the display. Does yours come up with anything on the display?

The only suggestion that I can really make is that you check that you don't have any alerts switched on. Go to the 'settings' menu, select 'sounds', then 'alerts', and change all of these settings to 'off', then see if it makes a difference. If this doesn't work (and if you are having other problems aside from this), then you may have a faulty unit and it would pay to get it checked out by a Telecom dealer.

Hope this helps.

Hi

If it beeps when you are in a low signal area, this is called signal fading, there is a setting to turn of the signal fading alert
