I was today years old when I found out about this device:

https://www.unihertz.com/products/titan-2?variant=46647193141487

Looks like an interesting throwback to the days of Blackberry (when they were actually good), and I note that they sell different versions for different parts of the world (yes, including NZ).

Has anyone used one and if so, have they got everything working (eg, VoLTE) while connected to any of the NZ carriers?

Then again, this one might be (more) worth waiting for:

If the Titan is giving me Blackberry Passport vibes, this is very 7700 territory. I want a click wheel though!

I found a fairly okay review video and am starting to give this device a closer look now:

Apparently being released sometime this month.

(Interestingly, I can't find anything about it on GSMArena, which is normally pretty good for this sort of thing - all they have is one preview on the Titan 2).

I miss my Blackberries that I had through work. 2009 I think was my first through to 2013 when my employer moved us across to the iPhone 4s as our corporate device.

Quite popular so far, I guess there is still some demand for a phone with a physical keyboard.

That's undoubtedly cool but I have to wonder whether people's admiration is mainly nostalgia and whether it will translate into decent sales figures in the current age.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
