Hi I have a Motorola Razr v3x and I purchased the SIM card in New Zealand can anyone tell me the default pin2 code, VodaFone tells me to talk to Motorola, Motorola tell me to talk to my network previder and I know this issue is to do with the SIM card not the Handset so I believe Vodafone should be able to give me this info but they seem to think they can only supply me with the PUK 2 code. if I remember rightly I have had this issue in the past with a hanset that got stolen and voda told me to talk to motorola they told me to talk to voda and when I asked voda a second time I got some one that new what they were doing and gave me the right info

If it neither of those you can PUK it by getting it incorrect 3 times and then ring and ask for the PUK2 and set the PIN2

Just PUK the PUK2 and then call CS and request the PUK2 code. DO NOT try and guess the PUK2 code its 8 digits.

Advise the CSR PUK2 code is under SIM details in SIEBEL

Oh so my bad, I thought if I get it wrong for the 3rd time and enter the PUK number I would have another 3 guesses ( I should have paid closer attention to what you were saying) so anyway I tried 1111 as most blogs I have seen when using google suggest this is the PIN2 number, ah wrong, didn't matter anyway because after having got it wrong 3 times and entering the PUK2 code (which VodaFone was able to give me after answering security questions) it let me choose my own pin number, Finally I got what I wanted. yeah. Still can't understand why both VodaFone and Motorola were unable to give me the Default code that is ridiculous.
