go see your telecom retailer, they will probably charge you a fee if your are setting up a new connection. They are your best bet

It will cost money, $45 at least.

You need the ESN number which is on the label under the battery and you need to call *123 from another phone if you can. (so you can programme it with the CSR over the phone)

Yes $200 is not a bad deal, 3205's are a nice CDMA phone.

its 3G time!

Most Telecom owned stores will allocate you a prepay number and line for free, but in your case you have a number/line already - no matter how you go about hooking up your new(ish) 3205, it will be free.

Because you already 'own' (or have purchased the use of) the number/line, you can hook any phone you like onto it. I'd be very interested to know if anyone (123 or dealer) charges you for attaching a phone to your number.

I just hooked up a phone 2nd hand phone ( for my son) I was given on a new prepay, it cost nothing except the $20-00 prepay card to get started. When we looked at the balance it had $5 or so dollars on it already. Also if you fill out the online survey you get $10-00 credit aswell I think???

Yep - you are right on all counts... there are a couple of avenues a dealer can use to hook up a new prepay. So long as they use the correct one, you will score $5 of airtime. This is a recent (unadvertised) promotion.

All new prepay connections can register online and score the $10.

its stupid on the Nokia 3205 it has a thing so you can send sound files, but you can't sent any! the only type you could send is a ringtone from the tones folder because thats all it lets you access but when you try to send a ringtone a copyright thing comes up!! and it wont send recordings! stupid i say! is there anyway around that copyright thing? hyundai tx95c's can send ringtones, why cant a 3205??

Yeah. Well on my phone I can send like only like 10 tones plus the voice recordings. Maybe if someone sends you a ringtone you can send that one...
