I still don't understand why people use screen protectors on the iPhone. It's all but scratch proof!

Trust me, in the almost 12 months I've had my iPhone it's had some knocks and to this day there is not a single scratch on the screen! It spends a lot of the day in my pocket with keys too.

Of course, I have seen one with a shattered screen - but then all a screen protector would do in that situation is hold the screen shards together

I would rather be safe than sorry, I mean sure it could be replaced by insurance but that is a pain and well these add to the life of the device.
