Hi, like the look of the RAZR V9. due to its specifications it is capable of going on the XT network.

Has anyone got a V9 on the XT network and would like to tell me how it goes???

also what is a good place to buy motorola phones so that they are unlocked ready to go??

any help most appreciated!!

Dan, the phone does not work on XT except maybe on the 2100 band which I understand is only in some of the big cities. I'm sure someone will confirm or deny this!
I am in Wanganui and after reading information that said the phone was compatible bought and tried an XT sim card in my V9 and it doesn't work. So I'm now either looking for a cheap XT phone or have a Telecom XT sim card for sale! A Motorola V9X apparantly does have the correct setup for XT. I haven't seen them in NZ though..

Cheers,
Bob
