I think Nokia may have removed the possibility in the NZ 6225.
You can use a data cable and PCsuite...

3 options

you can download it from the net, google search for "PCSuite Nokia 6225" it should be version 5.22 i think (or newer). Make sure you download from a Nokia site!!

For the last few months, 6225s have been shipping with CDs, check your box.

Go into a dealer and ask to copy one of theirs

I have recently purchased a 6225 and i got pc suite with it. After many failed attempts with a cheapy DKU-5 data cable i bought an infrared adapter from dick smith. now that doesnt seem to pick anything up and when i try to use infrared in pc suite i get an error message ( code 80043603). can anyone suggest an explanation for this?

PCSuite -can- be a royal pain to get going sometimes.

Perhaps try turning on the Serial and USB functions as well as infrared - when I have USB trouble, clicking the serial button in the nokia connection manager can often help.

i think it is the infrared side of it as i have had pc suite going fine on a laptop that already had infrared. have you heard of any troubles with dick smiths 'USB 2.0 to infrared' adapters? i am pretty sure i have intalled all the drivers etc correctly
