I would like to purchase a new handset, preferably a Glofiish, one of the new ones. But im unsure of where to buy them from, I haven't been able to find a shop that sells them. I've looked around the internet aswell but not much luck.

Does anyone know a NZ shop or website i can buy them from?

What model Glofish are you looking at Cloudmelon? You shouldn't discount looking at overseas shopping sites. As long as the total value of the phone is under $399 NZ then you won't have to pay customs duty. Food for thought anyways.
