hi all

any idea if it's possible to reduce the vibrating alert for text messages from 3 long buzzes to one (1)?

Any assistance much appreciated - i'd like to retain the vibrating alert for txts but just not let the whole office know as well! :-)

It doesn't appear so - 3 long buzzes seems to be it if you want vibration alert.

Jama is correct! (as usual!)

The vibrating function is not part of the ringtone, and as such is not configurable!

put your phone on a softer surface such as a phone book or bag, or leather document satchel, and it should make a whole heap less noise when vibrating.
