Just tested a Nokia bluetooth headset with an HTC Harrier today.

The headset i think was an HS-11W (?)

Worked like a dream.

From the box took about 2 minutes to read the instructions, turn it on, pair it, use it successfully for a call.

I dont use my Harrier for voice though - I have a Sanyo 7400 for that job.
As soon as the 6255 problem is sorted, then I will get myself one, and a headset.

Someone deserves to go to jail for not making me try a BT headset earlier. This will change my life LOL

Have been using BT Headest with harrier ever since I saw how ridiculous I looked with harrier to my ear. Mine however only works with voice calls. Can other sets be used for listening to music via the harrier? That would be cool.

No, the Harrier (and most Pocket PC except the HP iPAQ hx4700 and rx3700 series) do not support the Bluetooth headset for sounds.

The Plantronics headset M2500 (I think) also works really well on the Harrier and is far less costly than some of the name brands. RRP is $149 plus GST so quite reasonable.

Thats a good price - I used to sell boatloads of Plantronics gear at my last job - its really good quality IMO.

Will be worth a look - only a few dollars more than the no name ones too. (will have to be good to beat the Nokia one I tried)

Just wondering if you guys are having any disconnect problems as I do. Back in March I started a thread because I can't get my headset to stay connected when the Harrier goes into sleep mode.

I have a question for those of you who say that your headsets are working well: Have you installed the Harrier ROM upgrade that came out in January/February this year?

Riahon, I know you don't have this problem. Did you install the ROM upgrade in the end?

Hmmmm.

So putting 2 and 2 together (but maybe getting the wrong answer), I am starting to think that the ROM upgrade has caused my pain. Anybody else out there?
