From the looks of things Vodafone and many industry punndits are talking up a full on Nationwide WCDMA network for Vodafone.

Has anyone actually seen base station explansion and extensive mini cell additions being done outside of CHCH, AUCK or WELL.

Vodafone sure are putting heaps of sites up at the mo but seemingly only in the major cities.

Is this just a spin from Voda or are they actually considering building new sites in all of the major towns NZ wide?

Hope some one knows more

Vodafone has installed W-CDMA equipment at the main cell sites covering Tauranga and Mount Maunganui. Have not noticed any additional sites being built though. Hamilton is also covered, how well I don’t know. Andrew
