Can anyone please confirm a bug with the C510a (firmware R1FA035) with turning off an alarm? When the alarm goes off you can only snooze it - not cancel it! You have to go to Menu > Alarms > Turn off to cancel it. The manual says you should be able to select "Turn off" after silencing the alarm with any keypress after it sounds.

maybe try a master reset, if that doesn't work, try reflashing it with the latest firmware from Topsony or if the latest is the problem, one revision back

The datestamp on my firmware is 090723 so that will be newer than yours. There is a newer version out but it is not available with the Telecom XT customisations yet.

Well I didn't actually find any release notes before I upgraded so can't confirm any details. Also because the phone was new before I updated I haven't noticed anything except the bug mentioned above.

The update works through the SE site www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice
