K, from the other feed back that I got, I understand that with my Nokia 6225 I need to have a descriptor file for the phone to know to download the file.

I understand it's probley easier going to my service provider for ring tones, but well from the webpage "http://www.zedge.no/" they have 2 midi files that I would die to have as a ring tone, they are Defender of the Crown (theme song), and Monkey Island. Both were pc games that I loved and still love to this day.

The midi files you can download to your pc,
I woud like to create a WAP page to upload to my webspace along with the files and download them through my phone.

Can anybody help me out....

Thanks

there an abundance of content loaders for CDMA phones. I can suggest two options for you, first if you operate a laptop of have access to infrared transfer the files on to your 6225 via this method and they should be available to use as ringtones.
Alternatively google and look for a content loader over wap. its pretty simple you use your pc to upload content and receive a code. Then on your handset you visit a WAP page and enter the code and it loads down the content to your phone. This isnt the most ideal solution especially on a walled garden type operator with high outside charges

Content Upload sites:

Try: http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php (provides a address to a server, enter the address in to your browser, then the code provided to download the content)

It is intended for Sprint phones, and I have never tried it with a Nokia thou.

It worked for me when I had a NOK6225.

it's pricey to download but if it's only a couple it's not too bad. a 10KB file will cost you 50c

The files are .gcd files which just contain a weblink to the actual content for the browser to get and download.
