Choices choices...

I currently use the OKTA Touch with WM6.1 - time for a change...I don't know if I would go with my head or my heart on this one!

My head tells me the HTC is the better "business" option - ability to edit MS docs, excel etc

My heart tells me to go with the iPhone - great apps store, 32GB, "cool" phone to play with...

In reality I don't really edit word docs "on the go" so don't view that as a biggie.

My main day to day use of my OKTA is PHONE and SMS and some WEB.

Would like to ditch iPod and have one device...

Like the look of the keyboard on the HTC vs touch of iPhone. Am not a fan of the SMS format/app on WM6.1 as experienced with OKTA.

Does anyone have experience with both phones who can offer practical advice?

After playing with the iPhone 3Gs, i decided i really needed a hardware keyboard so went with the TP2. No regrets there :-)

It really comes down to personal choice.. I got bored with the iPhone's interface very quickly.. also the thousands of apps from the app store... not a major.. with WinMo, customization is almost endless.. Can easily get 16GB Micro SD cards for storage of your media..

The TP2 isnt necessarily a business phone although its promoted as being suitable for the business user. I listen to mp3s, watch xvid avi videos, use the GPS. I use it mostly as a multimedia phone. The TouchFlo3D interface works great for me.

Good luck on your final choice! Im sure you wont be disappointed regardless :-)

TP2 is a good handset.

You might also consider the HTC HD2 if a hardware keypad isn't a must for you. I'm enjoying mine.

I have/am using Palm Treo Pro, while carrying/using iPod Touch 1st Gen 32GB... many a time I wish it is an iPhone 3GS.

I haven't seem much use of editing Office documents while on the go... You won't go wrong with iPhone 3GS if you don't need real keyboard, I have found the "keyboard" on iPod Touch/iPhone is very smart in terms of prediction.

Internet is my backyard...

Iphone 3GS in my opinion. I find the touch keyboard extremely accurate compared to other touch phones I've used. Everything (apps) are just so polished and smooth on the device.

get a SD card, & you can dump all your music on it & keep on using your Okta Touch :D
