Hi – am a newbie to this forum – and modern phones  - we update phones about every 55 years…. My wife and I have just upgraded from Nokia 1100s to a Nokia 5530 for her and a Nokia 5230 for me.

A couple of questions on OVI.

Have transferred some music from my PC to the 5230 – shows up on OVI as being on the phone but cannot find any thing in the music  files. Any suggestions?

Also what are the OVI data files called and where are they stored? WIN 7 PRO.

Many thanks

Did you transfer the music via the ovi file manager or the music manager?  I thihnk when going via music manager it updates the music database at the same time.

You could try starting music player on the phone then go options "Refresh Library" and see if that picks up the music.
