Nokia announced their next wave of fashion phone, followed the success of their 7260, 7270, and 7280...

sporting 7380 with mirror finish.... and keyless navigation, and individual indepedent voice recognition/dialing and with 2MP camera.

7270, Nokia's first swivel, sporting 1.3MP and 8x digital zoom with 2" QVGA (240x320)...

I tell you what... Digital zoom is the most useless feature in a camera phone. The lenses are already bad enough to give a distorted picture, and digital zoom manages to scramble any hint of an image on this.

I actually don't use the camera that much - just have it because there's no model without these days...

digital zoom is a waste of time, I would rather take an image with a decent vamera and then attempt to zoom

sharp 903 has optical zoom and apparently a crap lens. its coming before christmas too for around $1349

anyway back on topic

i agree... i dont use digital zoom at all... regardless what build/model/devices.. digital zoom is bad!



funny though most digital stuff are good, but when it comes to imaging/optical-related stuff, digital is bad?! Why? LOL
