I'm currently looking for a new Vodafone phone (probably a Nokia) and really the big thing I'm looking at is reception - the area I live in (urban suburb in Auckland) has very bad reception for both texting and calling - the coverage website shows 4 bars of 2G/Calling coverage; however it's almost impossible to hold a conversation in the house, and 1 bar of 3G broadband coverage (no 3g broadband extended coverage).
Vodafone staff in store have told me that having 3G should improve my reception - is this true or just related to broadband?
And does anyone know which Nokia phones have the best reception? Is the 2730 good?
Was considering switching to Telecom but again the reception is 'Limited' and 2 degrees doesn't specify on their coverage maps.
Thanks heaps for any advice.

The Nokia 6121 seems to perform pretty well for coverage from most people I've dealt with this year.
