Just sold one of these (didn't think much of it) on trademe and the buyer is complaing it's locked?

I don't recall entering a PIN or anything.  Does anyone have one of these and could try swapping out the sim card please ?

Must have a default pin or something for the phone...looking at the manual 1234?
