Does anyone know if Motorola ever made L6 with full metal body?  My understanding is that the L6 is phenloic (like bakelite) with a very thin aluminium anodized surface.  Maybe they look like metal but my one after 4 years in and out of pockets is showing bare cream patches on the corners where aluminium anodizing has worn off.
Reason for asking - a bundle of new L6 phones are on TradeMe with the claim "full metal body".  Maybe "full" should be "fool"?

Ive got an L6 and no signs of wear as youve described... about 3 years old..altho has been in a leather case most of its life. But mines not "full metal"....

Id be a bit cautious if theyre "new" L6 phones... considering theyve been discontinued for quite some time.
