Hey Guys,

I have a question, I have both a Telecom MF636 and Telecom MF668+ and would like to know if anyone knows of a way that I can send an unattended sms from them, ie if I had one on a monitoring server I run, could a script be run to send an SMS to me to let me know of a service down?
I was thinking through the command interface like "AT" cant remember what thats called sorry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you can do it through the T-Stick, but I use a service from www.TextMagic.com for this.

Basically, they give you an email address which forwards to an SMS sent to your cellphone.

So for instance, in my case I just have the server alerts go to that email address, which then texts and alerts me. Works a treat!

Yea thats cool, just wanted to have the ability to send an sms if say the internet connection went down... Any ideas anyone?
