Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone out there has updated an XT SE W995a to a newer firmware revision, and if so how they did it?

The only telecom firmwarae is R1EA032, the sony site shows R1HA035 as the latest for this phone, yet both SEUS and The OTA Update service both claim no updates available. The new firmware is suppost to improve the camera and display driver, yet there are no signs of telecom releaseing. it. Can anyone offer any help?

Cheers

Then do the upgrade yourself.
You may void your warranty, and will lose any carrier customisation, but it will mean you are up to date with the latest firmware.

Thats what I did with a w705a.

Have a look on howard forums, thats where I got most of my information. But the obvious risk is bricking your phone, and it is a case of trial and error at times.
