i have got no help from vodafone themselves, they blame my SD card,
i have read and done my research and people before me have used the kingston 4GB micro SD HC card, so i bought this one, it works fine when inserted to my laptop but it is not being read when i instert it into my Vodafone 541,
the phone is also brand new, so i assumed that it would be configured to take the SD card but its not reading it at all, and it is put in properly,
i have reset to factory settings multiple times,
i have checked conections near where sd is inserted it all looks fine, but still when i go to
MENU->MY FILES->MEMIRY CARD, it comes up with NO MEMORY CARD FOUND,

is there anything i can do,

when i took it to the vodafone shop (no freaken help at all) the woman and man there fiddled around, with my phone said they cant do anything and if it is damaged i must have done it? im sorry again im not the type that opens anf fiddles with stuff i dont know, but im concerned, and kind of need the extra space.

please.... and thank you.

Did they not try the SD card in another Vodafone 541 for basic fault checking?

Just further to this did you take the handset to the vodafone / dealer you purchased the handset from?

no they didn't, the persons at the front of the store seemed pretty useless,

and yes i did, the phone was bought there a couple weeks previous, and now the first time ive tried my sd card in it it wont work, ive been trouble shooting, and trying to get it to work, strange thing is it works fine when connected to my computer but when it is connected to the phone it just isnt being read, the woman said "oh it should work" and basically told me im an idiot, that its my fault, but as far as im concerned i havent done anything but be stupid enough to throw my receipt out,

the sd works on my old phone and my laptop, just not my new phone.

If it miles just visit your local store and ask if you could try the SD stick in a 541
