On internet page of your GSM provider you should find the settings for Nokia phones.

On your mobile phone go to:
settings->configuration-->personal configuration settings-->opitons-->add new
and select the service you want to configure
enter the settings from internet page. turn of and turn on the mobile phone.

Still no love... found rough answers but nothing specific to the 6230i only the 6230 and they have a different firmware. Is there anyone out there that hasnt been able to send through the auto config sms from the vodafone site?

Try the Nokia Order settings page.

It appears to have your handset and also the Vlive GPRS settings. Pressumely it also has the MMS settings as well.

I wish it was that easy mate, as i said originally the phone simply wont receive the auto config txts, it somehow blocks the receiving of them
